Dear reader,
Today is the day.
Some of you know, most of you don’t but now is the time to go public.
Let’s spread the news to the masses young and old.
Are you ready?
I’m leaving.
NO.
I’m going.
God has placed a deep call inside of me that I am running hard and fast towards. I will be going on a bit of a grand adventure and I’m here to welcome you to the very beginning of it.
The trip I will be going on is called the World Race. (Not the Amazing Race) two very different races. One is for fame and glory, the other is centered around sharing the gospel and making disciples of all the nations.
I will be going to 11 different countries in 11 months starting in January 2021. The list of countries I will have the honor of serving are as follows, South Africa, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Nepal, Thailand, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Asia, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Quite the trip isn’t it?
I will be getting the opportunity to serve in so many different ways from church planting, camping ministry, preaching and teaching the word, evangelism, teaching English, leadership training, and so much more I’m sure. But I’m not there yet…
Now, why am I telling you?
Why wouldn’t I? This is not just a time of me bragging on all my accomplishments in life, trust me I don’t have any. But I do get to share all that God is doing in my life with anyone and everyone who wants to hear this great news.
I also am sharing this news for anyone who has a heart for missions, and for those of you that God is placing a desire on your heart to support me in this adventure. I am looking for anyone who is willing and able to support me financially. My end goal over this fundraising season is $18,000 by April.
I will be mailing out letters to many of you in the upcoming weeks, asking specifically for support and prayer in certain areas. I want to develop an army of prayer warriors and a group of people who are able to support me on a monthly basis as well. We all serve a great God wether we realize it or not and this is one of the ways I get to serve Him soon.
I can’t wait to get started.
And now you know. You’re in on my little secret, but now it’s the time to share. Let everyone you know about this awesome trip. Tell your parents, siblings, kids, co workers, absolutely everyone, scream it from the rooftops!
(Or don’t. Your neighbors would not be super thrilled if you did that.)
