Dear reader,

If you’re reading this now you’ve made it through the “Trinity Letters”. The most scandalous writings I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. If you somehow skipped over them I encourage you to go back and read them before reading this, seeing as this is the conclusion of all of them.

Context is everything.

Now, seeing as this is a letter, this conclusion will sadly be very one-sided. Not that I don’t want to hear what you have to say, but most of you might want to convince me that I didn’t hear from God, and here’s the scripture to prove it.

I’m sorry, but if we use scripture to debunk God’s miraculous work in our everyday life do we even believe in miracles?

I am a firm believer that Jesus Christ of the Bible is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. (Hebrews 13:8)

And if God and Jesus are the same person yet separate, everything that God clearly lays out in scripture I believe He can and does still do that in this day and age.

Which is pretty dope and overwhelming at the same time if you ask me.

Some of you might say I am adding to the Bible.

I do believe God leads my thoughts by His Holy Spirit that He sealed me with. And in doing so He plays a massive role in any written word in my life unless I am quenching Him and desiring the pride in a written work.

I share this with you for one reason. To testify to the amazing part of the story I am now walking in.

It is very common for me to go and be quiet just so I can actively be listening for God to say something to me. There is so much discernment that goes into this as well, so please hear me when I say I don’t take this lightly.

I love God’s word too much to speak of it as if it’s not holy.

I also want to make known that I am still an eager student of God’s Holy Word. It is perfect, I don’t need anything else in this life. Nothing that God tells me outside of reading His Word trumps or takes supremacy then my favorite book.

God’s word is sufficient. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) There are no ifs or buts about that fact.

Why would God choose to speak with us then?

He loves us. He wants us to know His voice.

It’s not just me. I guarantee you. God is always speaking; it really depends on if we’re listening or not.

I do my best to sit with God each day. Some days I give Him more time than others, but I want to go and sit with My Father. I want to lay down all my burdens at His feet in His throne room.

As I go about my day I want to ask Jesus how he would react in conversations and conflict amongst friends and at my place of work.

I want to ask The Spirit for strength, wisdom, and to produce much fruit and endurance for every good work.

And I want to shut up and listen to what He has to say.

To Be Still and know He is God.

And I am very much not.

I encourage you to practice prayer this way.

Conversing with God is not one way, and there’s not just one way He answers. Just don’t get mad if He chooses a way you don’t want.

He’s the head, the Lord of your life. He gets the final say you don’t.

One thing I will warn you about is this.

As soon as you start listening be ready, you probably won’t like what God tells you to do.

He wants you to adjust your life to His will.

More on that in the next letter.

Until then.
